Town Parks Fishery Catch Report w/e 6/10

As unsettled weather came in the fish went on and off the feed at Town Parks Fishery this week. The top Match Lake still fished well with anglers enjoying frantic sport at times.

Conor Nettleton banked 19 Carp during a day session with the fish taken from deeper water pegs. Coarse Pellet offered over a small bed of feed pellet proved effective!

Six children enjoying a Birthday party had fun catching Roach and Perch. Fishing from peg 1 one of the youngsters hooked into something much bigger! After an extended battle a beautiful 6lbs Common Carp came to the net much to the delight of everybody there!!!

Silvers have continued to show in numbers particularly Bream which are still feeding up very well and taking pellet and double maggot freely.

Meanwhile, the Specimen Lake also produced some great sport.

Yeovil rod John Cherrington fished from peg 7 trying to avoid the Catfish by fishing Plum and Pineapple boilies! Cherringtons plan did not quite go as planned as he battled and netted a fine 33lbs 1oz Catfish – his best fish for several years!!

Ten year old James Tippler fished Cell boilies from peg 12 placing his bait near the outflow pipe. Tippler hooked into an excellent Carp which he managed to get to the net! The 20lbs 2oz Mirror was in excellent condition and was quickly returned to the water after a quick picture!!

Ten year old James Tippler fished Cell boilies from peg 12 at Town Parks Fishery and banked this fine Mirror Carp of 20lbs 2oz!!

Paignton rod John Austin banked a couple of decent Carp of 16lbs 12oz and 14lbs 2oz from peg 9. Both fish fell to C C Moore Live System.
