Town Parks Fishery Catch Report w/e 2/6

The Specimen Lake at Town Parks Fishery produced some excellent sport this week. Catches came from many pegs around the Lake especially deeper water ones!

Peg 12 saw Conor Nettleton bank three Carp from the margins which fell to his Cell boilies.
Nettleton’s best a fine fully scaled Ghostie of 24lbs 8oz.

Local rod Conor Nettleton cast his Cell boilie from peg 12 at Town Parks Fishery and banked three Carp including this fine Fully scaled Ghostie of 24lbs 8oz!

Mark Warren continued his current run of catches form peg 5 banking a fine Common Carp which tipped the scales at 23lbs 15oz. A Pineapple pop up tempted the fish.

Junior Sophie Batt did a brilliant job of fighting and netting her very first Catfish.
Placing her worm bait close to the margins of peg 1, Sophie struck into the fish which tried to run into the snags around the reeds. After an extended battle the fish hit the bank and was weighed at a very impressive 15lbs 1oz!

Torquay junior Sophie Batt banked her first ever Catfish from peg 1 at Town Parks Fishery. The fish fell for her worm bait offered in the margins and tipped the scales at 15lbs 1oz!
Kelsey and Sophie Batt fished for Silvers from peg 1 and banked over 15lbs of fish. Maggot proved effective. 

 Ed Aldiss took three Carp to 22lbs 3oz from peg 12.

Ed Aldiss banked three Carp from peg 12 at Town Parks Fishery. The fish fell to Cell boilies, the best fish weighed 22lbs 3oz!

John Aldred banked his personal best Carp of 15lbs 4oz from peg 13. The fish all fell to Tutti Frutti boilies offered mid water as did two smaller Commons. 

John Aldred chose peg 13 at Town Parks Fishery for an overnighter and was soon into the action. Aldred banked this fine personal best Mirror of 15lbs 4oz and another brace which fell to Cell boilies!

Kerry Gorfin and partner John Lilley bith netted their first Catfish from pegs 2 and 3. Lilley ran out winner with a 20lbs 7oz fish whilst Kerry managed a very respectable 18lbs 3oz!

Adrian Pegg fished a 24hr session from 2 and was rewarded with five Carp to 16lbs 3oz all of which fell to Cell. Pegg also took a good Bream of 5lbs 9oz!

Matt Feakes banked 5 fish, two Cat’s and three Carp from peg 11 all high teens or early twenty’s!

The top Match Lake also fished well with Carp and Silvers readily taking anglers baits.
Lee Hunt bagged up after tempting the Carp with paste from peg 13. All Hunts fish, 100lbs plus came from tight in the margins with Hunt using his top two!

Barry Dodd fished the island in front of peg 15 to great effect taking 8 Carp, the best well into double figures!

Pete Lake took five Carp from peg 7 all of which fell to maggot or sweetcorn offered up in the water on the waggler!


Large bags of Silvers have been taken from various pegs, best reported from London rod Steve Rowlings 85lbs! All the fish fell to maggot or castor offered up in the water.
