Plymouth rods Matthew Green and Josh Fenwick banked six fish between them with Fenwick netting his first fish at the Fishery, best a 19lbs 1oz Cat.

Mark Warren lost what was described as a “massive” Catfish as did Dale Churchill after the fish ran around islands to snag the line and break free!

On the top Match Lake sport was also good. On sunnier days the Carp could be seen “sunbathing” in shoals but some were tempted with floaters or bread. The margins fished particularly well with up to 35 Carp reported banked from pegs close to the reeds.

Pellet proved successful.

Bream continued to take maggot and corn from most pegs while maggot helped some anglers to take large bags to the 50lbs mark!
