Continuing changeable weather kept the fish going on
and off the feed at Town Parks Fishery this week.
The lower Specimen Lake saw good sport from some
pegs whilst others struggled.

taking 5 fish overnight including a nice Catfish of 21lbs 8oz. All Locks fish
fell to baits offered mid water in front of peg 10.

48hr session. Lane took good Linears, Commons, Ghosties and Catfish to mid twenties
with all his fish falling to a 10mm Cell boilie tipped off with white
artificial corn!
Local rod Rob Boyne fished peg 16 fishing homemade
bait and was rewarded with a fine personal best Mirror of 21lbs 9oz.
Honiton rod Chris Newell chose peg 5 for a 24hr
session fishing pineapple boilies midwater. Newell reported many pick ups which
proved frustrating. Changing his rig to a critically balanced pop up Newell
started to bank fish eventually taking 12, the best a fine Common of 23lbs 4oz.
The top Match Lake continued to provide good sport
from most pegs.
8 year old Jack Mogg visited peg 4 with his dad and
fished corn and maggot midwater. Jack struck into, and landed his personal best
Ghost Carp of 5lbs 1oz!

times throughout the week and was rewarded with large bags of Carp, 20 to 30
