Town Parks Fishery Catch Report w/e 3/6

An excellent week of catches saw many anglers who visited Town Parks Fishery returning for more great sport.

Both Lakes fished well with many anglers reporting personal best’s as well as heavy bags!

The top Match Lake produced numerous 100lbs plus bags from various pegs, although the dam wall pegs produced the most constant sport. Carp to the 12lbs mark fell to pellet offered mid water from the dam with some anglers taking up to 15 Carp an hour!

Bream showed in numbers falling to corn fished on the bottom. Peg 3 saw the best of the bream action with anglers fishing short of the island banking “hundreds” of fish!

The Specimen Lake returned to normal after the recent spawning with Carp taking sweet and fruity baits from mid water and the margins.

Callum Rosendale fished peg 6 after a fruitless 4 day visit to another fishery and enjoyed excellent sport banking six Carp and Catfish to 23lbs 8oz! Rosendales fish fell to sweet flavoured  boilies offered in the margins!

Mark Hughes fished Cell pop ups from peg 16 and took five Carp in quick succession including a 22lbs 8oz Ghostie and a Common of 23lbs 7oz.
