Town Parks Fishing Catch Report w/e 30/05

Testing fishing conditions were encountered this week on both lakes at Town Parks Fishery although fish did come to the bank.

The Specimen Lake gave some good Catfish sport with several anglers connecting with fish, some for the first time! Carp were feeding very sporadically and watercraft was important to outwit them.

Visitor James Levett banked a nice 19lb 12oz Common fishing a cell boilie from peg five whilst Dave Osmond once again showed everybody how to do it taking three Carp and a Catfish  to 21lbs 4oz in three hours!!

On the top Match Rob Metcalf fished several short sessions taking up to twelve Carp on pellet fished up in the water.

Several groups have held tutored sessions this week with plenty of Roach, Rudd and Perch coming to the bank after taking maggot offered mid water.

Fishing conditions look good and some good bags are expected this week.
