Despite the continuing changeable weather catches at Town Parks Fishery improved considerably.

Both lakes produced great sport with some fine catches reported.

On the Specimen Lake plenty of Catfish came to the bank, one angler banking 9 during a night session!

Some very large Catfish have had the upper hand snapping angler’s main lines one angler loosing three rigs during one night!

Alan Devonport fished from peg 9 and took eight Catfish and three Carp during a 24hr session. All Devonport’s fish fell to cell boilies.

South Brent rod David Hine visited peg 9 on only his second visit to the Fishery and banked his personal best Carp a stunning Common of 23lbs 1oz! This was complimented with a Mirror of 16lbs 3oz that followed shortly afterwards. Both Hine’s fish fell to luncheon meat offered over a bed of halibut pellet fished mid water.
