Sporadic feeding kept anglers busy at Town Parks Fishery this week.
Whilst some pegs fished well others required intensive watercraft to find the fish!
Dave Osmond was in the thick of the action again on the Specimen Lake taking 19 Carp from short sessions throughout the week. Osmond also banked a couple of Catfish, the best a respectable 28lbs 6oz. Most fish fell to Cell boilies whilst the Catfish took red maggot!
Dave Osmond continued his excellent run of catches at Town Parks Fishery banking this fine condition Ghost Carp of 23lbs 9oz. |
Tyson Norton fished peg 1 with cousin Flynn Darke taking 6 Carp in 7 hours!
Flynn banked his first ever Carp followed by two more, the best a fine 14lbs 1oz!
Junior Flynn Darke banked his first three Carp form peg 1 at Town Parks Fishery. Best of the bunch a fine Common of 14lbs 1oz. |
All the fish came to baits offered tight to the right side of the main island.
Weston Super Mare rod Brian Sachs had an excellent session banking four Carp and breaking his personal best twice. Sachs’s second fish was a beautiful fully scaled Carp of 22lbs 4oz breaking his PB by over 2lbs. More than happy he continued fishing and eventually banked another PB of 23lbs 1oz!
All fish fell to homemade tuna boilies offered mid water from peg15.
The upper Match Lake continued to improve after the recent spawning and some very good mixed bags were taken.
Carp came to the bank from most pegs particularly the dam wall and pegs 8 to 14.
