Continued unsettled
weather helped to keep the fish on the feed at Town Parks Fishery this week. The
Specimen Lake produced good sport even in the most atrocious weather.
Paul Knapman and Wesley
Hayes found that out as they banked fish in pouring rain and gale force winds! Hayes
took two high doubles from peg 8 whilst Knapman was packing away his second rod
on peg 7 when his last reel screamed off. As the rain got heavier a good Common
of 15lbs 1oz hit the net! White chocolate boilies and coconut pop up’s tempted
the fish.
Regular Dave Tozer had a
couple of good sessions from peg 12 taking fish on both visits including a
lovely condition Leather and fine Common. Both fish were high teens and fell to
Passion Baits boilies.
Local rod Dave Tozer had a couple visits to peg 12 at Town Parks Fishery and banked some quality fish including this fine Common Carp. |
This fine Leather Carp fell to Dave Tozer at Town Parks Fishery. The fish fell to a boilie offered tight in the margins of peg 12 on the Specimen Lake. |
Once again Matt Feakes
was in action. During a short visit to peg 1 Feakes banked a nice Mirror of 17lbs
1oz!
A short trip to peg 1 at Town Parks Fishery proved successful for regular Matt Feakes who banked this Linear Carp of 17lbs 1oz. |
A couple of good Tench
have been reported the best 7lbs 3oz taken from peg 5.
The top Match Lake saw
fewer anglers than of late but the ones who stuck out the conditions took Carp
to the 7lbs mark and plenty of Silvers.
