Continued settled weather kept the fish on the feed at Town Parks Fishery.
The top Match Lake saw anglers enjoying sport from most pegs with multiple catches of Carp reported.
Rod Metcalf continued to lead the way taking up to 12 Carp in quick succession during several short sessions. Metcalf fished a method feeder close to the edge of the main island with ground bait and hook pellet.
Peg 10 also fished well with many anglers taking Carp from the margins of the island, pellet or corn producing the goods!

On the lower Specimen Lake Scott Farrar also took a cracking Bream of 8lbs 8oz, smaller than his previous best 10lbs specimen.
Catfish are really moving around now with several nice sized fish coming to the bank.
A couple of very large fish were seen taking mallard ducks from the surface – obviously very hunger after their Winter lay up!
Dave Osmond lost a “massive” Cat estimated to be 50lbs+ which ran around the island in front of peg 6 from close to the peg and eventually snagging the line and breaking free!
North Devon rod Glenn Hayes fished a tutti frutti boilie from peg 10 and banked a nice Common of 20lbs 2oz.
Rob Williams fished a 24hr session on peg 14 testing out Garlic flavoured Carp Balls pop up’s. Williams eventually banked six Carp the best a very nice Linear of 24lbs 5oz!
