Town Parks Fishery Catch report w/e 12/2

Unsettled weather throughout the week provided changeable conditions for anglers at Town Parks Fishery.

On the upper Match Lake Rod Metcalf fished a pellet quite shallow from peg 17 and banked three Carp, all around the 8lbs mark within a couple of hours. Metcalf switched tactics and targeted the Silvers for the rest of the day and banked plenty of large Roach for a very good bag!

Anglers fishing the reeds between pegs 1 and 20 and 14 and 15 have reported excellent catches of Roach and Rudd to the 2lbs mark. Caster and maggot offered quite shallow have worked well.

On the lower Specimen Lake fishing was good with several good Carp coming to the bank.

Exeter rod Phil Walker visited peg 12 and fished a chocolate boilie midwater.
Walker reported several runs before he hooked into, and landed a fine Common of 20lbs 4oz. The fish was in pristine condition and was returned to the water quickly.

Local rod Pat Williams took a fine Linear Carp from peg 14. The fish tipped the scales at 17lbs 2oz, William’s personal best, and fell for a strawberry boilie offered by the bar. Fishing partner John Connabeer also banked a smaller Carp during the night session.

Local rod Pat Williams fished a strawberry boilie from peg 14 at Town Parks Fishery and banked this fine Linear Carp, his personal best, which tipped the scales at 17lbs 2oz.
Samuel Wilson chose peg 9 for an overnighter and was rewarded with a nice Common of 16lbs 1oz. Wilson fished a mainline spice pop up mid water.

Local fireman Samual Wilson fished a very cold and icy session at Town Parks Fishery and was rewarded with a nice Common of 16lbs 2oz. The fish fell to a indian spice boilie.
