Regular Rod Metcalfe visited the dam wall for several short sessions taking up to 12 Carp, mainly from the margins, on pellet.

Brixham rod Dave Gorman had his rod snapped whilst he fished from peg 14. A very large fish, probably a Carp took his pellet and swam towards the reeded margins. Despite Gorman's efforts he could not stop the fish in open water and during a frantic run the rod snapped! The hook pulled and the fish escaped to fight another day!!

Some large Roach to the 2lbs 8oz mark were reported from sheltered pegs 3 to 6 taking maggot and castor. Some large bags of smaller fish were also reported during the week.
