Much colder
weather reduced the catch rate at Town Parks Fishery although fish did still
come to the net.
Town Parks
regular Conor Nettleton did particularly well fishing form peg 10 on the
Specimen Lake. Nettleton fish a double Cell boilie rig close to the island and
banked 7 Carp during his 36hr session! All the fish were high teens or above
with the best tipping the scales at 23lbs 10oz!
This superb Mirror Carp of 23lbs 10oz fell to Conor Nettleton who fished peg 10 at Town Parks Fishery. The fish fell to a double 15mm Cell boilie rig fished towards the main island! |
Nick Solomon
returned to peg 14 and banked a twenty plus fish for the second week running! Solomon
fished a Korda “Goo” covered boilie towards the central bar and saw his bait
seized by a fine condition Mirror Carp of 22lbs 3oz!
Town Parks
Fishery regular Nick Solomon followed on from last weeks success by banking
another 20lbs plus Carp! This fish
fell to Korda Goo covered boilie fished towards the central bar!

The Catfish have been a little absent lately but some have been spotted moving around the lake.
Once again
Rod Metcalf targeted Bream but this time from peg 10. The fish were as responsive
as last week with plenty of fish in the 2lbs 8oz range coming to the net. Around
40lbs of fish ended up in the keepnet!
On the top
Match Lake, Carp were still feeding sporadically with some anglers bagging up
whilst others left empty handed!
Silvers have
gone deeper in the water but are still feeding on maggot and castor. Bream
continued to plague anglers in some pegs with some fish taking baits intended
for Carp and Silvers on the drop!
