Town Parks Fishery Catch Report w/e 11/11



 With colder weather moving in the fish at Town Parks Fishery have started to feed up for the long Winter months.

On the lower Specimen Lake Gordon Batt fished peg 1. Placing his baits beneath the overhanging willow tree, Batt laid a small bed of maggots and fished a Cell boilie over the top. After dropping several fish during the night Batt eventually banked a superb condition Common Carp which tipped the scales at 21lbs 2oz!

Torquay rod Gordon Batt fished a cell boilie over a bed of maggot on peg 1 at Town Parks Fishery. Batt was rewarded with this excellent condition common carp that tipped the scales at 21lbs 2oz!
 
Fishing partner Matt Feakes also lost a couple of fish, one straightening his hook, before banking a 17lbs 2oz Mirror. A Cell boilie offered over maggot proving effective!

Paignton rod Trevor Trebell banked a good Common of 18lbs 1oz from peg 15 having tempted the fish with a squid boilie.

Local rod Trevor Trebell fished a squid boilie form peg 14 at Town Parks Fishery and was rewarded with a 18lbs 1oz common carp.


On the top Match Lake Matt Kelly fished a mix of coarse and halibut pellet from peg 10 on the Match Lake. During his day session Kelly banked 18 good sized Carp, at one time banking a Ghostie, Mirror and Common in quick succession!

Paignton rod Mark Warren fished peg 15 at Town Parks Fishery and banked this fine condition common carp. the fish fell to a cell boilie offered mid water.
 
Junior Jack Mogg fished coarse pellet towards the island from peg 15. Mogg banked two Carp, a Mirror and a Ghostie both in the 3lbs to 4lbs range!

Silvers still fell to maggot or castor although the fish are much deeper near the bottom!
