Despite the unsettled weather conditions good sport was had on both Lakes at Town Parks Fishery.
The lower Specimen Lake saw many anglers banking
their first Catfish or their personal bests!

Brixham rod Cameron Wilson took his personal best
Mirror of 20lbs 4oz on a tutti frutti boilie fished mid water from peg 3,
whilst fishing partner Jason Stride banked Mirrors of 20lbs 0oz and 15lbs 3oz
on the same bait!
Torbay rod Clint Walker fished his first overnight session
at the Fishery from peg 7 with baits placed close to the waterfall. Just as
daylight started to show Walkers rod screamed off and after an “epic” battle a
Catfish of 27lbs 2oz was on the bank.
Exeter rod Matt Green
banked this beautiful Common Carp from peg 6 at Town Parks Fishery. The fish
fell to a Cell boilie offered mid water.

Cornwall rod Pete James visited peg 14 and was
rewarded with two fine Commons which tipped the scales at 22lbs 3oz and 23lbs
6oz. Both fish fell to Cell boilies offered midwater during the early evening.
Tyson Norton chose peg 1 to test his new homemade
coconut boilies and banked an incredible 12 fish during his 20 hour session. Having
never banked a Catfish, Norton was over the moon to bank two, the best 17lbs
12oz. Some lovely Carp came to the net including a beautiful fully scaled,
three Commons and seven Mirrors.

reported falling to worm!
The top Match Lake saw good action from most pegs
with some decent Carp and Bream coming to the net. Carp to the 10lbs mark were
taken from peg 10 and dam wall pegs produced fish of a similar size!
Several groups from South Dartmoor School enjoyed
tutored sessions taking Roach, Rudd and Perch in numbers which fell to maggot
offered up in the water.
